Commands in Spanish are expressed with the imperative mood. While they are normally used in the second person, they can also be used in the first-person plural, in the sense of ‘let´s…’. In this case, we use the present subjunctive of ‘nosotros’, without a subject. ‘Juguemos fútbol’ = ‘Let’s play football’. The only exception is the verb ‘ir’, which uses the indicative instead of the subjunctive: ‘Vamos a casa’ = ‘Let´s go home’.
