Shannon-Weaver model - consist of few fundamental concepts such as sender, encoder, channel, decoder, receiver and noise. The person who produces and sends message is the sender. The encoder acts as the transmitter that helps convert messages to signals. The medium is channel that is used in sending the message. Decoder receives the message and breaks down to understand it. And the receiver is the recipient of the message. Then the disturbance that may be the reason for the receiver to receive incorrect message is noise. Transactional model – also called as the circular model of communication since the sender becomes the receiver just as fast as the receiver becomes the sender. The reason is both of them sends message together while the receiver and sender are called as communicators.
