Nawal El Saadawai, a pioneer Egyptian Doctor, feminist and writer has died, aged 89. She will be remembered for her brutal and unwavering push, through her work, and talks, all aimed at improving the political and sexual rights of women. For this, she was subjected to hatred and spent time in jail. She was born in a small village outside Cairo in 1931 and wrote her first book at the age of 13.
