Relative pronoun "quien" : This pronoun “quien” refers only to people. It also has a plural form “quienes.” (There is no distinction between masculine and feminine). When this pronoun refers to a person and it has a function of the direct object, “a quien” may be used. When the relative pronoun is put after a preposition and refers to a person, we use “quien”.
