About meHi there! So, you want to learn Yoruba and improve your skills? Awesome! Language is a way of life, a way to express our opinions, and convey our innermost feelings to our next neighbour; hence, a proper understanding of the language allows us to express these innermost desires. The Yoruba language is fascinating and with a significant influence on Nigerians (Yorubas and non-Yorubas) both at home and abroad. It reflects in almost all facets of our lives, e.g., music, greetings and interactions on social media platforms etc. But in all sincerity, learning Yoruba doesn't come by itself. But then, that's why I'm here. I'm Oluwafunmbi Ajayi, a Nigerian, Yoruba by tribe, and of the Ekiti clan. Teaching my native language is something that I always love to do. I have been teaching the Yoruba language for almost ten years now. I'm experienced in passing this knowledge to my students without any difficulty. I have a bachelor's degree in Human Anatomy from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Let's discover the Yoruba language together! My teaching methods will include teaching my students the rudiments of the language and enabling them to consolidate on the things given to them. With this, students will develop speaking and writing skills, proper usage and pronunciation of Yoruba alphabets, words, and the formation of sentences. Classes will be communicative and interactive enough to accommodate all these. Lots of improvements and successes have been recorded amongst my students, and thus, yours shouldn't be an exception. What are you waiting for? Book lessons at your convenience, and let's have some fun as we learn and converse in the Yoruba language. Thanks.
