In this article, we are going to go through all the parts of the human body in the German language. It is worth knowing all the different parts of the human body in case we ever need to describe pain, go to a doctor, or even a hospital, and much more.

    German Idioms that use body parts

    Hand und Fuß haben

    Literally to have a hand and foot (meaning to make sense).

    Sich ins Knie schießen

    To shoot oneself in the foot.

    Brett vor dem Kopf haben

    This means to have a board in front of one’s head, this means in English to be slow or a bit dumb when it comes to understanding something.

    Die Nase voll haben

    To be sick of/had enough of something/someone.
