Ya llego la primavera! (The spring is here) Or at least it is here for one half of the planet.

Everything is in bloom even our will and determination to learn Spanish with tutors, improve our vocabulary and overall Spanish speaking skills.

In spring, everything awakens, so besides our will to do something useful, we might boost our vocabulary with Spanish spring words.

When we want to talk about the seasons in Spanish, when it comes to spring, the first thing that comes to our mind is usually a green color (verde), nature (natura), and smiles on people’s faces.

So, the ideal way to welcome spring this year is to learn Spanish spring words or in case you already know them, to repeat, just in case.

And since there’s a lot of work in the garden, especially en primavera, let’s learn some jardin verbs.

  • abrirse- to open (in the meaning to blossom)

  • cavar — to dig

    Using this structure, it refers that the color is temporary and the color might change.

    Example: El cielo hoy está azul

    • Noun+color

    Example: Los lápices azules- Blue pencils.
