About me
Welcome! My name is Carla, I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and at the moment I live in Canada, at the lovely city of Montreal. I have experience both in Linguistic services as well as IT. Back in Portugal, I worked as a Technical Translator for some time, after that I worked as a Localization QA Tester in Ireland - my longest work experience. You could say I'm a 'language geek'; at the moment my head is dealing with three languages at the same time - Portuguese, English, and French - which in a way is enriching. I like to analyze languages and understand them - using the knowledge from my degree in Language and Culture. I would like to use a more practical approach when teaching, presenting real-life examples and more - with some humor. How do I cancel a lesson?
You can cancel a lesson up to 12 hours ahead of booked time.
Is the lesson online?
We use ZOOM for classes. You can enter the class 5 minutes ahead of booked time. Go to "Dashboard". Click on "View" and click on "Join". You will enter the classroom on ZOOM.
