About me

I am a native Chinese, born and educated in China. I have a master’s degree in English Linguistics and Literature. Before I came to the Netherlands, I have been a university English teacher for more than ten years. I speak standard Chinese and have obtained the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Certificate of Putonghua（Mandarin）Proficiency Test, Level I-B. In 2014, I was selected by Confucius Institute Headquarters in China and was sent to work in the Netherlands. I have been working at Groningen Confucius Institute. I give Chinese language courses to students of different levels, and design and give one-on-one courses, which are tailor-made to individual students with different needs and requirements. In addition, I give cultural workshops, translate all kinds of documents and help organise various teachers training programs and cultural activities. I am enthusiastic and dedicated, able to work effectively both independently and in a team. I like communicating with my students and am delighted to see how they are making progress in their learning. I design various learning activities and use multiply teaching materials to make the learning easy and fun. Looking forward to meeting you in Chinese learning.

You can cancel a lesson up to 12 hours ahead of booked time.

You can use Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Is the lesson online?

We use ZOOM for classes. You can enter the class 5 minutes ahead of booked time. Go to "Dashboard". Click on "View" and click on "Join". You will enter the classroom on ZOOM.
