About meHi! My name is Constance. I am a Kenyan living in Kenya. I have Bachelors (Hons)in Education,Kiswahili with more than 20 years of teaching experience in various education institutions ranging from the University ,teacher training colleges to secondary schools. I would love to join the teaching team and start teaching and share the knowledge that i have and meet with new people from around the world. Lessons will be tailored to cater for individual needs,Welcome one, welcome all. Both young and adults I am a Consultant, working with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development [KICD] involved in curriculum reforms developing Kiswahili, Literacy and Indigenous Languages Curriculum.I have developed curriculum for Adult Education, Primary to Higher education. The work involves development of materials for Curriculum implementation.I am involved in the current curriculum reforms, Competency Based Curriculum(CBC) in the country.I am a National Master trainer involved in training programs, preparing teachers to teach and monitoring. I am also involved in a graduate students Literacy program under G-United and Tusome Literacy program. I also do translations from English to Kiswahili and vice versa. The teaching style i employ is direct style where i engage students to role- play for example exchange of greetings in kiswahili ,assigned readings of texts in kiswahili, audio-visual presentations, demonstrations and lecture. when sounding the Kiswahili sounds(vowels and consonants),audio-visual and demonstration is what i use.

We use ZOOM for classes. You can enter the class 5 minutes ahead of booked time. Go to "Dashboard". Click on "View" and click on "Join". You will enter the classroom on ZOOM.
