Greetings! I’m Teacher Cedric and I’m from the Philippines. Since high school until college, English was the primary medium through which, we students, were required to express our, thoughts, ideas and feelings, be it written or verbal. It’s within those 8 years in high school and college then that I could confidently say that I would be more or less equipped in teaching well in English. Additionally, I am TEFL Certified and have one year of teaching experience in the elementary level. With these being said, let me share with you then the knowledge, skill and joy of learning the English language.

I have achieved the CELTA designation and gained endorsements for Business English instruction and the teaching of English to Young Learners by successfully completing the TEFL Online Master Certificate course. These skills will enable me to teach English wherever it’s needed around the world, as is currently the case in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a British English native speaker living in a Spanish speaking country where daily interactions are opportunities to teach English, coupled with my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, I believe I am well qualified to help students who often feel challenged by the language. My teaching role will be to help students develop their learning styles by 1) presenting real-life examples to make the content relevant to their lives and 2) incorporating individual and group activities that engage the listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
