For me, Yes it is helpful but not necessarily, It is easy to learn a language if you allow grammatical error every time you write and speak. through this, you will learn and discover how to write and speak correctly. this is what happen, the more you are careful and conscious with your grammar the more you get confuse and its hard for you to learn the language.

No, Each languages have their own grammar, style and sentence structure. For Example, A simple sentence in the language is going to have at least a subject and a verb. You will find that the sentence structure is opposite from what you would find in English. In the Filipino language, the verb or predicate actually comes after the subject

Being monolingual will somehow limit you for some aspect like job opportunities. Primarily because multilingual people are not restricted to job opportunities in whatever country and field they wish. They can find job opportunities in different field like international law, journalism, medicine, finance and travel industry. In fact, thousands of job ads in the U.S. alone say that knowledgeable in foreign language as a required skill.
