Singular - boy. Plural - boys (many boys). To denote either possession of one boy, or to say that a boy is doing something - boy's (e.g. "the boy's bag is red" - possession - and "the boy's annoying me" - "the boy is..."). Boys' - possession of many boys - e.g. "Boys' clothing is often blue."

If you are going home right now or you are about to, use "I am going home". "I go home" by itself doesn't work, however it can do in some sentences, for example "When I go home I like to walk through the park."

It depends on what you want to say. If you want to say the plural (many) of customer, use "customers", as in "there are many customers in the shop". However, if you want to say that something belongs to (a single) customer, you can use "A customer's bag has been found."

If you ask "What is the date today?" you are asking what day of the month, e.g. the 1st / 2nd / 3rd of April. Whereas if you ask "What day is it today?" you are asking what day of the week it is, e.g. Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday etc.
