About meHi, I am a cross-culture and Swahili language facilitator, interpreter and Hamisi translator. I come from Tanzania, and I'm a native speaker of Swahili language. I have a bachelor's degree in teaching, and a certificate of recognition as a Swahili Language and cross-culture facilitator from the National Swahili Council of Tanzania (BAKITA). I am a professional oral Swahili language interview tester with a certification from language training specialist, Harvard University. Last but not the least, I have a certificate of participation in Adult-centred facilitation techniques, Intercultural diversity and inclusion, safety and security, growth mindset, Peer observation and feedback, differentiated instructions, Portfolio assessment, board games and Poetry. About my experience: I have been working in this field for not less than six years. Also, I have been working with different international organisations such as US peace corps, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) etc., as a Swahili language and cross-culture facilitator, translator and interpreter with a lot of success. My teaching style is based on the communicative approach with a lot of class activities, games, and fun events which make the lessons seem like they are about your life. Also, I use different teaching styles to meet the standard of all learners. For example, I use flashcards, audio, video, etc., and for each topic, you will learn cultural, safety, security notes, and also proverbs/idioms (optional). ASANTENI na KARIBUNI.
