Get a passionate tutor, love the language, breathe, it gets frustrating sometimes, get excuses to speak it more and more

Pick one which you have a genuine interest in and try to do a little history and culture digging around. It's much fun if you feel like you can relate or you want to discover something, not just from the language itself, but also from the people who speak it. :)
