About me
Having seen the profiles of teachers on online teaching sites, it is apparent that photogenic and younger individuals are preferred. I guess that rules me out, except I have been in education throughout my career, have a PhD, Cert Ed, masters and bachelor degrees. I am well familiar with modern online teaching methods (Zoom, Google, Skype etc) and, despite my scientific background, am currently teaching English to young adults in France (I also speak French, so presumably that's why they took me on!). I am also homeschooling my 17 year old son in math, English and science. Living in Thailand means there are time differences with students but that is not a problem at all. Students have found my classes to be entertaining and interesting, something that kept them motivated and involved.Tutor Stats

How do I cancel a lesson?
You can cancel a lesson up to 12 hours ahead of booked time.
Is the lesson online?
We use ZOOM for classes. You can enter the class 5 minutes ahead of booked time. Go to "Dashboard". Click on "View" and click on "Join". You will enter the classroom on ZOOM.
