About me
Hello! I am from Albania, currently living in the Netherlands. During my career, I have tried to be involved in many fields. I have worked in a bank, I have worked as an English-Albanian (and vice-versa) translator and interpreter and I have also worked as an English teacher with students of different ages and levels. Being a good translator requires of course a good command of the English language but also of the mother tongue. Hence, I know myself to be very good at grammar. Although my work experience as a teacher consisted of teaching a foreign language, I do believe that teaching is the same as long as you know the language well and have a broad and rich vocabulary. My involvement in teaching English to all ages and all types of levels makes it easier to teach Albanian to children, kids and adults. I have tried to make teaching interactive with games and other activities. I do not stick to the programme but try to give my own touch and adapt it to the needs of the student. What students love about me is being patient, kind but at the same strict with giving homework and asking from them to do their homework. To conclude, I would love to share my teaching practices with people who would like to learn Albanian.About me
