The RC must have a very good understanding of and seek to follow the distinctive values and organizational processes of SB. These are outlined in the plans and detailed policy documents of SB. The RC is responsible for the monitoring and facilitating of a group of projects under a donor classification (TEAR, BWAA and Others).As experienced staff with knowledge of the philosophy and methodologies of the organization, the RC has a role in monitoring and mentoring the staff at the project level with special emphasis on a participatory management style through the Project Management Committee (PMC). The RC will be expected to organize and participate in project and organizational level training to ensure that the Staff members of the project are growing in understanding of the policy and values. The RC will also need to have good understanding of the responsibilities of the organization (SB) under any agreement with donor organization/s. This understanding should be shown in the timely meeting of donor and government requirements. The RC also needs to have an understanding of the different and overlapping requirements of both the Bangladesh Government and the donors. Detailed duties of the RC include the following: 1. Monitor all the Project activities and staff. 2. Assist the PMC members in their decision making and implementation. The RC should be allowing the participation of all members in the PMC. 3. Implement any problem solving at the Project level if it has not been solved by the PMC. 4. Submit monthly activity report, quarterly report and annual report along with all requirements to the authority in due time. 5. Sign, along with guardians, the liability certificate on stamp paper. 6. Give the orientation to the new staff and improve their skill. 7. Monitor the work of accountant and cashier and check all vouchers each week with the PMC members. 8. Prepare the monthly work plan. 9. Arrange and participate in training, workshop and seminars for the Project staff. 10. Work 6 days a week staying at the working area. 11. Adhere to the Provident Fund (PPF) policy. 12. Receive the monthly salary and other benefits according to the organizational policy. 13.
