About me
Hello, my name is Laury, I studied psychology, and I have a teaching diploma. I am an Armenian from Lebanon, and I'll be travelling in a few weeks to Armenia to continue my masters in Armenian studies. Armenian language and teaching have been my passions since high school. I was awarded the highest GPA in Armenian language literature and history in my high school years. Being an active member of the community helped me to be perpetually in touch with the Armenian culture. Starting from my high school years, I began to tutor students who had difficulties at school. During the teaching diploma program, I did 120 hours of observation of high school Armenian classes, and 60 hours practicum internship, teaching Armenian literature and history in the 10th grade. Western Armenian is my native language, and it's a language at a high risk of disappearance. I will devote my career to teach Western Armenian to Armenians in the diaspora or people with different nationalities, interested in saving this treasure. My teaching style is closer to the discussing and delegating styles, where students are asked questions and empowered.About me
