Lower Sorbian Tutors and Teachers
ABOUT ME I am excited to be an English as a Second Language teacher/tutor. I strongly identified the online teaching world with its mission of cross-cultural communication and global citizenship. I am confident that I would make an excellent addition to your teaching team because of my passion for helping students, my teaching and cultural experiences, and my TEFL qualification. My teaching experience started at the company I’m currently work at, Frogitt and Vonkel. For the past 3 years I’ve done on the job training with new people starting at the company where they knew nothing about wine or cold calling. My job was to teach them how to cold call, objection handling, how to work with the different computer systems and to teach them everything about wine. This is when I realized I have a passion for teaching people new skills and when I decided to take my online TEFL Course to start online teaching. I’m now looking for my first online teaching job to start my new career. My teaching philosophy: I believe every person is capable of learning new things and that each person has their own way of learning that will work for them. Boosting self-confidence will help any person learn faster and help them to be confident and believe in themselves. Why do I want to start teaching English? I enjoy teaching people new skills and with English being an international language that everyone wants to speak, I know this is the next step for me in my career. Why am I a competent English teacher? I believe that every person has their own pace of learning new things. With my passion for teaching and patience I will be the perfect teacher/tutor. A teacher who is creative can do wonders in the class room. My new ideas will help students in learning English in a fun way where everyone will participate in the class. My skills and knowledge on language teaching: As a teacher you need to be able to communicate with all different types of people. Teaching English is not a one way conversations, but a two way conversation between teacher and student. Being friendly and using different techniques will keep the class interesting and keep the attention of the students. Encouraging students to speak English as often as possible will help them to learn the language a lot faster. What my classes would be and what students can get out from my classes: From past experience in doing on the job training, I have learned that the most important thing is that students must feel comfortable in your class and that they must at all times feel comfortable to ask any questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question. My class must be full of fun activities to teach students without them realizing that they are actually learning. People love to speak about themselves and that is the best way of learning about the students and what will help to learn faster. At the same time they will learn to speak English without even realizing it. Educational Background: Events Management Certificate, Boland College Public Relations Management Diploma, UNISA TEFL Certificate – Teach TEFL Work Experience: Frogitt & Vonkel Private Wine Merchants (2014 – March 2018): Branch Manager Recruitment and selection Employee induction On the job training & development Performance appraisals General HR Records Incentives HR issues, policies and procedures Weekly and monthly reports

How do you become successful in learning a new language? Well, let me tell you a little history. I had to learn German for an oral exam. I chose the tutors, who offered a session at a low price. The only way to become fluent/really good in a foreign language is by just speaking it a lot and learning from your mistakes. I could have chosen between having 1 hour with a higher-priced tutor or 2 hours with a lower-priced tutor. I chose the 2 hours with a lower-priced tutor, because I had to speak German as much as possible. It worked out great! I got the highest grade in German last month. My teacher and the examiner were surprised that I spoke almost fluent German. My unique 5 methods to become successful with a language: 1. Texts: We will focus on improving pronunciation, vocabulary, and understanding of a text. 2. Episodes: We will focus on general listening, speaking, and understanding skills. I will prepare some screenshots from the episode, and interesting questions. 3. Pictures: We will focus on describing different elements, symbolic, etc. I will prepare questions for the pictures. 4. Songs: We will focus on your ability to understand a song and communicate the message. This will improve your vocabulary, listening and communicating skills. 5. Common conversations: We will focus on improving your speaking and listening skills. I will prepare some general questions for introduction, and small talk. You too can become fluent in Danish! Book your first lesson right now and start speaking the language from day one!

Hi, my name is Fatih and I am 20 years old. I am a college student who lives in the capital city of Turkey which is Ankara so I am a Turkish native speaker. My college department is mechanical engineering and also I have been teaching and learning languages for more than 1 year and I had many conversations with people from other countries thus I have a background about teaching and learning. My teaching style is on extending vocabulary, i think it is the most important thing to speak a language and most of the time we will work on extending your vocabulary in Turkish and also learning very important introduction sentences in Turkish because If you know some words about what you try to say, you can make people understand you even if your grammar is wrong.
