Hi everyone,this is Monica,I'm from xiamen China. I’m a mom of 4years and 11years boy.I’m here to be a Chinese tutor,because I hope I can work from home,and care of my kids at the same time by myself. In China,most of the grandparents live with their kids,so that they can help to look after their grandchildren.But some of the grandparents have passed away;and some of them are in poor health,mine are in poor health,so they can not help to look after my kids.That’s why I’ve to work from home,and look after kids by myself. I’m good at teaching kids.Take my elder boy as example.By the time he is ready to start primary school,he had to know pinyin and some basic hanzi firstly.Most of parents sent kids to class to learn pinyin and hanzi,parents try to help kids through their first year easily.I didn’t send him out,I taught him by myself at home. Pinyin is really a little hard for kids to learn,cause it is so bored when learning.I do research and learn Pinyin by myself at first,and then try to find the way that not let him feel boring.I made lots of flashcards,and put learning Pinyin in games,then I played with him,such helped him to master Pinyin without realizing it. Boys like to play car,I stick one Pinyin on each car,and then I made a car park with Pinyin Sign,what he should do is drove a car and then parked into the same Pinyin position.With lots of games with him,he mastered the Pinyin finally with no boring words from him. Hanzi is also important for him to master a little basic one,cause if you didn’t know any hanzi,you will feel hard to understand during class.I read bed time story when he was in his toddler age,so he know some basic hanzi.He has developed a good habit of reading before going to bed till now.I also do some hanzi flashcards and hanged them everywhere at home,so that we can play hanzi game everywhere every time. Basic with Pinyin and Hanzi,he made it through his first year without incident. Self-motivated doing homework is also important,building a long term good habit is necessary,when he was in first primary school year,after he got out of class,I let him have a snack before start writing homework,also I want him must to finish it before dinner time,and no homework after dinner.He really did a good job,he is in grade 4 now,he has always made it a habit to finish his homework before dinner. I studied chinese,math,English...with him at the very beginning,I hope I can grow with my kids,to be a growing mom. Now,my younger son is 3 years old,I’m going to study with him as well,from pinyin,English,math...I also made lots of cards,and played with him,he also feel very happy when we are in learning time.As I said,I’m good at teaching kids,I always try my best to find the efficient way to help them learn everything with fun,no boring but only funny. Therefore,I’m here,I hope I also can help your kids to learn chinese with fun,and no boring in mind.Tutor Stats

We use ZOOM for classes. You can enter the class 5 minutes ahead of booked time. Go to "Dashboard". Click on "View" and click on "Join". You will enter the classroom on ZOOM.
