About meHello, my name is Reda, a 25 years old guy from Morocco, I work as a full-time English and Arabic tutor, and I have a part-time job as a Barista in multiculturalism and touristic restaurant where I get to meet new friends from different backgrounds and nationalities almost every day. My love for languages drove me to learn different languages as a window to other cultures and tradition around the world, I speak Arabic as my mother tongue language, French as the second language in Morocco and English as a postgraduate student in literature and cultural studies, and recently I am a beginner in Spanish. With the experience of two years, I have been practising English and Arabic tutoring with students of different ages and nationalities, and for different purposes. As a tutor, I usually start by assessing your skills to help generate a lesson plan that fits the student’s needs, wither the focus should be on communication and conversation skills from one hand, in which I may have the students to speak with me about various simple things, as an evaluation that would allow us to make our way to build a conversation from scratch, or in the other hand to help the student gain a deeper understanding of the reading materials they are assigned in school, through reading passages or writing few paragraphs. Light is shed as well on grammar and writing skills as a key to effective communication in which we start from the basics of sentence composition, next comes reading skills in which I help the students to fully comprehend the content of written passages, or having them read aloud to help with oral communication skills. I may as well assign students with reading homework to be reviewed during the next session. And for speaking, it is important to converse with my students about different daily life scenarios, social and work situations, and to correct them when they make grammatical or pronunciation mistakes. My mission is to help all my students to be successful whether they're having trouble understanding a topic or they need help preparing for an exam, making friends and building conversations is what catch their interest, whatever the case is, concrete progress is an essential part of my mission.
