About me
Hello! My name is Rubina Vasilyan, and I am a native Armenian speaker from Yerevan. As a professional teacher, I am excited about the opportunity of teaching Armenian online. I am fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian, and I've been teaching both standard Armenian and Western Armenian to English speakers. I understand that every student learns in different ways. Hence, my teaching methods and materials vary depending on the learner's individual needs, skills, goals and level of language proficiency. I focus on communication, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading. I can teach both absolute beginners and those with a high level of knowledge. By the way, all the necessary materials will be provided for the student – from text documents to audio files. Having gone through the language learning experience myself, I have a good sense of the feelings and thinking of the students I teach. This ideology allows me to tailor the Armenian learning experience to meet each students' personal needs. As a teacher, I am kind, friendly, demanding, but also patient. I am very hardworking, and I carefully prepare every lesson. I try to motivate my students and do my best to engage them in the learning process while keeping it fun and interactive. Rubina has shown an excellent lesson. She utilizes flashcards and digital materials to effectively teach her classes.
How do I cancel a lesson?
You can cancel a lesson up to 12 hours ahead of booked time.
Is the lesson online?
We use ZOOM for classes. You can enter the class 5 minutes ahead of booked time. Go to "Dashboard". Click on "View" and click on "Join". You will enter the classroom on ZOOM.
