I am here to address your needs and create lessons, especially for you. With your goal set in mind, let’s work together so you can reach the fluency you need to communicate confidently. I am an engineer and a certified English teacher (Trinity CertTESOL), and I have been an online Spanish teacher for more than a year now. I love to see people grow and achieve their goals. I find it very rewarding to be a part of that process. For me, knowing a foreign language is an empowering tool, and I want to help you master that tool so you can use it to accomplish your dreams and improve your quality of life. I focus mainly on developing your conversational skills. That includes helping you incorporate vocabulary and working on your pronunciation but also helping you gain the confidence you need to speak effectively. I am aware that every person is different, so I will go at your pace, give you the time you need, and create a relaxing and engaging environment for you to practice and get exposed to the language. I like to do interactive activities and use visual materials, and after each lesson, I will send them to you so you can look over them at any time. In our trial lesson, I would like to talk about your interests, your goals, and your motivation to learn the language. We will start practising, and it will be a good opportunity to assess your skills, give you feedback, and discuss a plan that suits your learning style. If you want to start practising Spanish, I'll be here to help you!

¡Hola! I have six years experience in teaching ESL to students of ages 5 and beyond (my eldest student up to date was 70!), and it's a great satisfaction to see them gaining more confidence in their skills. Also, I have over three years experience in teaching English and Spanish online to students from China, Korea, and Japan, and other countries such as Jamaica and the USA. The majority of my students have been working professionals, stay-at-home moms, and young students that want to practice speaking. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering, a TEFL Advanced Certificate (120 hours), and I received a Band 3 in the Teaching Knowledge Test (issued by Cambridge English). I also believe that life experiences are important in our formation as students and/or teachers. I was raised in Texas from ages 3-11, and being in a Mexican household, I had to manage thinking in two languages at the same time from a very young age. Thanks to this, I've been able to understand the differences between Spanish and English. I have a basic level of Korean, and I'm always interested in learning more languages. When I am teaching either language, and my students ask what a certain word means, I always like to use examples from pop culture or recent events so that way they can remember the correct meaning or the correct context to employ it in. Also, I like to encourage my students to talk about the things they love most in the language they're leaning. Do you like arts and crafts, a certain sport, or a certain music group? Talk about that and you'll see that it's easier to remember that vocabulary! I really hope we can make a good team!

¡¡Hola !! ¿Hablas español? Do you speak Spanish? ¿Un poco o mucho? My name is Diana, and I'm a Spanish teacher from Madrid. I'm currently living in Denmark, where I teach Spanish in schools and online. I teach grammar, oral skills, composition and general cultural aspects attached to the language. I have an outgoing and dynamic personality, coupled with a motivating teaching style. I love teaching! I'm currently teaching in an evening/senior school - from total beginners to B1. I like to engage the student in an active learning environment while paying special attention to speaking (both pronunciation and intonation), along with grammar and vocabulary, and feedback during the lesson. I provide all materials: books and pdf files, videos, links, and everything to suit the student's needs. Every lesson is specially designed for a specific purpose. - Are you travelling to a Spanish-speaking country or you need to boost your confidence when speaking? - Do you want to pass an exam or you simply love to learn español? My students tell me what area of the language they need to work on, and I plan the lessons accordingly. I very much look forward to hearing from you. Best regards/ Saludos, Diana.

I have a particular way of teaching. With me, you'll be the star. I adapt my classes to your personality, capabilities, interests and goals. Let's have some fun and learn together! *I teach using English, French and Spanish. I am Yasmin. I am graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation. I have been teaching for a year now. I lived in Valencia, Donostia, Bilbao, Madrid and Huelva. I started teaching Spanish in the Spanish city of Vitoria (also known as the Basque Siberia) because I wanted to help the immigrants coming every year to start a new life in Spain. I found that the best way to help them was by teaching them Spanish so that they can communicate with others and build a new life. Up until now, I have helped more than 80 immigrants reach their goals.

Hola, hola, hola! I'm Anaïs Lanka from the beautiful Barcelona! I'm a traveller addict, passionate about languages, diving and exploring different cultures through my students. I love talking, I love listening and I love whatever is related to communication and learning something new. I think that a foreign language can give us much more of what we can imagine. It brings us a new culture, better communication skills, empathy, help us in taking decisions and our brain becomes faster because new neuronal paths are created. (hey, it's true! There are studies about all this that I'd love to share with you!<3). About my education: I was technology engineer and after travelling around Asia and Europe I became a diving instructor whose job let me travel a lot. Then I realised that I wouldn't be young and fit forever. So.. I realised that I was getting old and ugly and after teaching underwater my next step was going up to the surface an teach languages so I got certified as a Spanish teacher by International House, got an E-learning speciality and made a postgraduate in Spanish teching. *About my teaching experience: I have been teaching all kind of subjects since I was a teenager, but oficially and related to languages I have been working since 5 years ago and last 2 years focused on teaching to business *About my teaching style: I'm a tech woman, so I love tools and dynamic classes, and yes, sometimes I can be a little nerd (however I don't like all nerd series starting with "star" like /wars/trek/gate..):O. Going back to Earth, I use Zoom or Skype and my classes are conversation and task based. This means that the lesson has a real-life objetive and grammar is learned on the background. Don't you still have a trauma from your school years spending hours and hours repeating tables of grammar? I do! and I hope you expect something more motivating and useful than that! :) I consider myself an active, creative and resolutive person, always open-minded and respectful with other cultures and opinions and always with a smile on a face. My friends say I have a good sense of humor so I guess they are not kidding me or at least I'm paying them well for that ;P One last thing. The classes descriptions don't let me set an age older than 99 but I'm open to +99 (alive) people too :P Soo, more than enough for a description of myself. Now it's your turn! Who are you and how can I help you? Hasta la vista, baby Cheers! Anaïs

How are the Spanish tutors verified?
The Justlearn staff carefully reviews each teacher application that comes through. Most applications are rejected. If the tutor passes the initial review, we contact them and require additional information. We continue to review tutors and reject their profiles if they are not replying regularly to messages, if they skip on lessons and more. We want to maintain our reputation of providing high-quality service and the best learning experience.
How do online lessons work?
We use ZOOM to connect students and teachers online. They can access the ZOOM online classroom from either mobile phone or desktop. The video conference room contains advanced features for optimal language learning. You will practice your language skills with modern language tools such as screen share, share files and much more.
Are learning materials included?
Learning materials are very important as they aid in processing students learning development. Here in Justlearn, since we are a one-stop-source to different language tutors from all around the globe, each tutor has their own learning materials where they create, strategize, and use tools to help them in mentoring their foreign students.
Do tutors teach all ages?
Yes, these tutors are willing to teach people of different ages - kids, teens, and adults. As a tutor, it is natural for them to be engaging, interactive and welcoming and not selective to a group of learners. One of our goals is to provide language tutoring to all ages.
How to find a Spanish Tutor on Justlearn.com?
If you want to find a tutor, you have to sign up to the Justlearn.com website or download a mobile app and then sign up. After you’ve signed up/ logged in, you choose your tutor and language you want to learn. It sounds so simple, but which tutor to choose? Honestly, it can be quite a problem because all of our tutors are true professionals. They go through thorough verification and validation process before start teaching. However, here are several suggestions on how to choose a tutor that suits you. When you click on language you want to learn, you see a list of all tutors of that language. By clicking to a tutor’s profile, you can see all of the tutor's details. We suggest choosing according to your requirements, whether it is availability, or an hourly rate, or maybe a tutor’s way of introducing him/herself. You can also, before choosing and deciding, send a message to a tutor, whether you have some question or any doubt. Find out what are requirements you find essential, and according to them, decide which tutor to choose. Finally, no matter who you want, we assure you, you will not regret it.
Can I study Spanish and other languages at once?
There is no limit on how many languages you can learn on Justlearn. You can choose how many you want to. Maybe you are a once born talent for languages and words, and you can learn more than five languages at once. Who knows? If you decide to learn, for example, three languages at once, be prepared to give your best. Try to learn almost every day, because learning three different languages (or more) requires three times better concentration and dedication. We suggest studying similar languages, it will be easier, especially if you start learning from the beginning. For example, it would be more smooth to learn Spanish, French, and Italian at the same time than Spanish, Russian, and Swedish. But do not feel demotivated. If you think you can do that too, then go ahead! And let us know how you are progressing.
How much does a lesson cost?
We have 3 subscription plans. 2 lessons per month for $29. 4 lessons per month for $49. 6 lessons per month for $69.
Can a student become a tutor in Justlearn?
It is common that at some point, people who were learning a language want to teach as well. Whether it is the beauty of teaching and passing the knowledge, communication with others, or after an enjoyable experience with his/her tutor realizing tutoring is the right job for him or her on the platform. Justlearn allows every person to become a tutor. However, he/she has to fulfill some requirements. Here are the most important of them: (1) A tutor can teach only his/her native language. (2) Filling out the Teacher's Application form is required. (3) Bachelor's degree minimum. For more information on how to become a tutor and fill out an Application form, please visit Help Center, tutors' section. Or you can simply go to Apply to Teach page.
What payment methods are supported?
We support Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. No additional fees are added to the price.
What is the most important qualification that you should look out for in choosing a tutor?
Above all else, it's important for you and your tutor to be able to communicate in a common language. It may not be English because the tutor might be fluent in your native tongue, too. But if the tutor you chose is a native speaker of the language you want to learn and isn't fluent with your native language and you know how to speak in English, then make sure he can speak English, too.
What should you expect in learning a language?
Learning a new language takes time, lets you put in a bit more effort and resources to make it work. If you have a specific timeframe that you're following, then you'll need more of the three aspects to learn it. You should also expect that if it's just a bit too difficult for you, then you have to be open to your tutor about your difficulties so that what you've invested on will not go to waste. In that way, your tutor will be able to make adjustments and will help you achieve your goal.
How can you be more effective in learning a language?
Always be attentive in your lessons and when you're done with them, make sure that you are able to practice and apply what you learned. Your tutor will give you tips on how to practice on your own and might give you homework. If the tutor doesn't, then you can ask for it so you can keep practicing off schedule. You always have to help yourself while you're on your own so that when you're already out there and speaking with the locals, it's not that hard to pick up on what you learned anymore.
What factors should you consider in learning a language online?
Learning a language online needs you to invest in a good internet connection, if you don't have any yet, because it's the only way to work with a tutor. You also have to invest your time and if time is difficult to spare, you might as well choose a platform that allows you to choose your own schedule. You also need space, like a quiet room, where you can speak with the tutor and be able to focus on your lessons.
How can you help your language tutor be effective in teaching you?
Always be attentive with what your tutor is teaching you. It's the only way for you to understand and learn easily. Make sure that you follow the schedule that you agreed on or what you choose for yourself if that's how it works. You also have to participate in the activities that your tutor has planned for you because these have been tailored fit with the requirements that you have set. If you are asked to practice during the days when you don't have lessons, you have to religiously do so.
What kind of language tutor should you choose?
It really depends on your learning style. If you think you can learn better if the person is more of someone who teaches professionally then you can find someone who teaches that way. If you're the type who learns while just talking to the teacher, then you can opt for someone who's friendly, enthusiastic and fun but still focusing on the lesson at hand. Always read a tutor's personal introduction so you have a bit of an idea who they are and how they teach.
What's the advantage of hiring a tutor?
It's an advantage to hire a tutor because lessons will be customized for you and you'll be guided in learning them to make it more effective for you. You can easily interact with them and ask them to elaborate if something's not really that clear to you. They will also be able to give you feedback on your progress with your lessons and how far along you are in achieving your goals in learning the language.
How can learning a language benefit me other than being able to communicate with it?
Studies have proved that learning languages can help you with other mental processes as it sharpens your thinking skills. There's significant improvement in your memory, enhances your concentration, it helps you be able to multitask with ease and improves your listening comprehension skills. It also helps you solve problems easily because it enables you to critically be able to think to come up with effective solutions.
What should be your mindset so you can learn a new language easily?
If you already have a particular language in mind because you have goals to achieve, prepare yourself to learn it and be mentally ready to take risks. There will be times that you will struggle but it should always challenge you to work harder and do better. You have to be optimistic and determined that no matter how many obstacles you have, you're still willing to make it happen and be fluent in the language you want to learn.
How important is motivation in learning a language?
Before you decide to learn a new language, you have to be able to answer the question, "Why do you really want to learn?" It could be because you'll get a promotion at work, or for a new relationship, or because you want to get better grades in school and etc. There are many reasons why you want to push yourself to learn. Your reasons why you have to learn affects the level of motivation that you exhibit in learning and it also shows in the progress that you achieve.
How do I contact Justlearn?

Anaïs
