Do you need to improve your pronunciation in order to understand and be understood better? Do you want to get rid of your accent? Do you want to fix some bad pronunciation habits that you have? Are you an English teacher who would like some ideas about how to teach pronunciation? Do you want a teacher who really cares about you and offers you excellent value? Are you taking an IELTS exam and want to boost the pronunciation score in the speaking? If you have answered YES to any of these questions, then keep reading. Teaching English since 2010, I've developed a profound knowledge of English Pronunciation. This is my full time job and passion. Hence, the students get results and fast. Barbara from Italy says: "My first lesson on vowels has been superlative. I think Andrew is a talented and super competent teacher, with a sparkling personality. On top of that, you can really feel how he cares about getting the lesson across to his student and with him you feel safe to take chances and make mistakes. To put it shortly, the best of the best. Thanks Andrew and looking forward to my next lesson." In our lessons, there will be a strong focus on pronunciation. Our main goal is for you to ultimately communicate better in English through improved pronunciation and listening skills. If you have a trial lesson (45 minutes), I will email you a placement test to check your level of English before we meet. During the trial, I will find out about you and your English needs. I will measure your oral ability, focusing on your pronunciation. Following the class, I will email you a detailed feedback form based on our conversation. Even if you decide not to have regular lessons, the trial will give you an excellent idea of what you need to work on, especially regarding pronunciation. If you decide to take regular classes, we will then come up with a suitable plan for you. I hold a Cambridge CELTA certificate and I've taught many students of many nationalities including Spanish, Chinese, and Russian. I hope to see you and inspire you soon, just like I have with Zhanna from Russia, who is now on her 41st lesson with me: "On every lesson with Andrew I learn smth new and understand the music of the English language and it's intonation deeper. Andrew is very patient ,regardless the fact that I'm sometimes so slowly at thinking :) I'm moving slowly as a tortoise, but I'm on the right way making progress and undestanding better the details of intonation guiding by professional teacher. I like that Andrew creates different activities for the lessons. He's very responsible for what he does for his students. All the lessons are student centered. Thank you for your time, additional materials and homework. Your homework's very helpful. You're a brilliant teacher. Looking forward to the next lesson with you."

I am a native Spanish speaker and I have a Cambridge certificate in English language. I have a degree in Food Science in University of Buenos Aires. I am learning German right now. Work experience: I have a job as a Science teacher in University of Buenos Aires; I have been working as a freelance English-Spanish translator through Upwork for several years; I have been giving private lessons of Science to school students for several years. I am willing to start working as a Spanish teacher as well. For intermediate level, I suggest to teach in Spanish. That's the best for an intensive practice. My German teachers have some methods to let students figure out the meaning of new words from the context, or using definitions, in order to avoid translating. I intend to make the same with Spanish. Of course I can use English if needed, but I don't think it helps. The more Spanish they hear, the more Spanish they learn.
I’m a Lithuanian who decided to move to UK and finished an undagraduate degree in genetics. Exited to spread the knowledge and teach Lithuanian language in my free time.
