About me

Hello! My name is Tapas, I am a native Hindi speaker. I have a Master's Degree in Physics from the University of Calcutta. Since my college days, I have been teaching both kids and adults Hindi. I have experience of over 5 years in teaching students of all ages and levels and my teaching style differs with each. I help more than 500 students like you.I try to get to know each of my students and allow them to know me as much as possible, to create a comfortable and engaging environment where they do not hesitate to ask questions or feel uncomfortable in making errors as it's all a part of learning. . I live in the cultural capital of India- Kolkata, in West Bengal. Therefore, I am naturally more inclined towards arts and heritage. I am a bookaholic, and I love learning about the cultures and customs of different places worldwide. I am good at effective conversation and love to communicate with different people, irrespective of their language. I feel language can never be a barrier when it comes to sharing and exchanging knowledge, information, ideas, and thoughts. I believe that in order to succeed with anything in life, one has to enjoy what they do. This is why I try to make my lessons fun and interactive so that my students feel motivated to continue learning English,Bengali & Hindi. Building vocabulary, pronunciation skills, basic grammar knowledge, and fluency are the core of my lessons. I focus more on helping to develop practical language skills that would enable the students to strengthen their proficiency in communicating effectively. I use audio resources in my lessons, which help students understand how the languages are used in real-life situations. I provide written materials about the topic of the day's lesson for revision purposes. I ensure that my students always have easy access to the required study assets. I use personalized resources for each of the students and coach them to accomplish their goals- both long-term and short-term.

How do I cancel a lesson?

You can cancel a lesson up to 12 hours ahead of booked time.

Is the lesson online?

We use ZOOM for classes. You can enter the class 5 minutes ahead of booked time. Go to "Dashboard". Click on "View" and click on "Join". You will enter the classroom on ZOOM.
