Books for quality in English language (grammar , vocabulary) , movies for better comprehension in verbal skills and everyday expressions (aka slang)

reading helps a lot , but watching movies with English subtitle and listening to music will help you to get more interacted daily and that will train your ears and mind more efficiently in order to improve your listening and speaking.

I agree with Rhonda. Your brain automatically records the grammar as you read and that helps you to form sentences in the right order when speaking. I suggest you start reading books that are designed for young readers. They are short and the vocabulary is simpler so you are not looking up words in the dictionary every paragraph or two. It is better if you try to guess the word´s overall meaning and continue reading if possible. This way you have a sense of accomplishment and reading will be fun.
